Overview
SAI Platform Annual Event 2025
Between 19th and 22nd May, organisations from across the global food and drink industry value chain gathered in Paris, France. This exclusive member-only event brought together pioneering farmers, sustainability experts, policymakers and researchers to explore how we can move regenerative and climate-smart agriculture from individual, company-led initiatives to a fully scaled, industry-wide transformation.
SAI Platform’s 2025 Annual Event, held between 19th and 22nd May across Paris and Northeast France, convened more than 200 global agri-food leaders for a landmark gathering defined by strategy, industry alignment, and action. This year’s event marked a pivotal chapter for the organisation, as Director General, Dionys Forster and the Executive Committee presented an ambitious 2025–2030 strategic roadmap during the General Assembly on 19th May.
With strong alignment across its leadership, SAI Platform’s new strategy charts a bold path forward to accelerate the global transition to a more sustainable food system. Anchored in cross-industry collaboration, practical tools and implementation resources while progressing a farmer-centric approach, the roadmap reflects a commitment to realising regenerative and climate-smart agriculture at scale.
From strategy to soil, the event continued with four immersive field visits, offering members firsthand insights into regenerative practices in action. Visits included:
At the heart of each discussion on farm was SAI Platform’s Regenerating Together Framework (RTF), a global approach for measuring environmental outcomes and adapting regenerative farming practices to local realities. From satellite-assisted nutrient management and low-carbon fertilisers to rotational grazing and biogas systems, members saw first-hand how resilience, profitability, and climate action intersect on the ground.

These on-farm experiences set the tone for a day of forward-thinking dialogue at the SAI Platform conference on 21st May, where farmers, industry leaders, policymakers and researchers came together for transparent, solutions-oriented conversations. Keynotes and panel discussions explored critical enablers for transformation, including transition finance, aligned and scalable tools and trust-building across value chains.
Highlights included pioneering insights from farmers, Sarah Singla and Jean Harent, policy perspectives from former French Minister for Agriculture, Julien Denormandie and European Commission Deputy Head of Unit, Valerie Forlin and real-world case studies from Nestlé, Mondelez, McDonalds and the Future Fit Dairy Initiative. Read our in-depth article on the conference here.
All event presentations and case studies are now available exclusively for members on My SAI Platform. Members can also revisit event highlights from the four day programme through the official photo gallery here.

As the event closed, one message resonated clearly: the future of sustainable agriculture is already in motion, and it’s powered by collaboration. With the 2025–2030 strategy now in place and real-world pilots demonstrating what’s possible, SAI Platform is poised to lead a new era of agricultural transformation rooted in regeneration, equity, and resilience.
